PILATES & PREGNANCY

Pilates allows an expectant mother to follow a safe and effective exercise program throughout the whole of her pregnancy. The exercises will be adapted to meet every stage of the pregnancy and day to day energy levels.

There is always concern about lying on your back throughout pregnancy: To be safe we use the Fit Ball and the Balanced Body EXO chair, the modern version of Joseph Pilates´ "Wunda Chair", which allows you to perform Pilates exercises in a seated upright position.
